Freedom

Freedom can be lost. It can be imposed upon you. It can also be built by yourself — with effort, with desire, with courage.

In this series faces and bodies resist, yield, leave, stop at the edge. They don’t declare — perhaps they ask, they are seemingly still or they act. A back in the rain. Hands that hold without letting go. A step on a night pavement. A gaze that asks no permission. Freedom is not stated. It lives in the gesture, the posture, the direction — even when the direction is not yet clear.

The pictorial pixel fragments the figure without dissolving it, holds the tension open.

What remains? A question? An answer? Either way, it will be your question, your answer.
