Horizon is the most silent series — and the most open. No faces turned toward us. Only backs, profiles, gestures directed outward: toward the sea, the light, the line where everything ends and something else begins.
These women do not show themselves. They show us where they are looking. And in that direction — fragmented by the pixel pittorico, dissolved into light and colour — lies the question the series holds open: what lies beyond what we can see? What calls us there?
But something else happens in the looking. As the figure turns toward the horizon, the pixel pittorico begins to dissolve the boundary between body and landscape. The colours merge, the fragments interweave — until the figure is no longer before the horizon. She has become it.
Because the infinite is not out there. It is already inside.
